Stop Guessing, Start Testing Your USB-C Cables
We’ve all been there: a drawer full of identical USB-C cables, but only half of them actually support fast charging or high-speed data transfer. Broken internal pins are a leading cause of device connection failures. Instead of frustrating trial and error, the USB-C 24-Pin Cable Tester Board allows you to instantly verify the integrity and exact specifications of any dual-head Type-C cable.
Comprehensive 24-Pin Detection
Not all USB-C cables are created equal. This diagnostic board supports full 24-pin conductivity testing. By plugging in both ends of your cable, the module routes the connection through its precisely engineered circuit. It accurately tests every single pin, helping you identify whether a cable is fully featured (for video and heavy data) or just a basic charging cord.
Visual LED Diagnostics
Troubleshooting should be visual and immediate. The board is equipped with 12 sets of bright LED indicators mapped to specific pins (GND, TX/RX, VBUS, CC, D+/D-, SBU). If a light fails to illuminate, you immediately know exactly which internal wire is severed. Note: On standard full-featured cables, 22 indicator lights will illuminate (one side's D+ and D- lights remain intentionally unlit by design).
Portable & Battery Powered
Leave the bulky power supplies behind. Powered by a single, widely available CR2032 button battery (located on the back), this lightweight PCB module is entirely self-sufficient. Its compact footprint means you can easily slip it into a pocket, laptop bag, or toolkit, making it ideal for on-site IT support, tech retail screening, or home DIY projects.

FAQ Section
FAQ Section
Q. Why are two lights (D+ and D-) on one side unlit when testing my cable?
A. This is completely normal. A standard full-featured Type-C cable has 24 pins, but only 22 are actively connected end-to-end to prevent signal interference. Therefore, exactly 22 indicator lights should illuminate.
Q. Can I use this to test USB-A to USB-C cables?
A. No, this module is specifically engineered to test dual-head Type-C to Type-C cables due to the complex 24-pin architecture of the USB-C standard.
Q. Does the board require an external power adapter?
A. No! The board features an integrated CR2032 battery slot on the back, allowing for completely wireless, portable testing anywhere.
