Compact Precision for Your Engineering Projects

When designing custom mechanisms, bulky components are often the biggest hurdle. This ultra-thin 35mm stepper motor solves the space-constraint problem without sacrificing control. Whether you are building a miniature camera slider, an automated dispenser, or custom STEM robotics, this motor provides the precise step-by-step movement required for exact positioning.

Space-Saving 8.4mm Ultra-Thin Design

Traditional stepper motors can be excessively deep, limiting your design options. At just 8.4mm thick and weighing only 45 grams, this low-profile motor tucks neatly into tight enclosures. The pre-installed brass gear on the 2.0mm output shaft means you can integrate it directly into your mechanical drive systems right out of the box, saving you the hassle of sourcing and press-fitting your own pinion.

Reliable 2-Phase 4-Wire Operation

Designed for standard 2-phase 4-wire operation, this motor easily pairs with popular drivers in the 5V to 12V range. With a phase resistance of ~7 ohms and an estimated driving current of 0.8A, it is optimized for medium-speed pulse signals.

To get started, simply map the generous 200mm+ color-coded wires to your driver:

  • Yellow: A+
  • Orange: A-
  • Brown: B+
  • Black: B-

FAQ Section

Q. What motor drivers are compatible with this stepper?
A. This motor works well with standard 2-phase 4-wire drivers (such as L298N, A4988, or DRV8825) used in Arduino or Raspberry Pi projects. Please ensure you tune the current limit to match the ~0.8A requirement to prevent overheating.

Q. Can the brass gear be removed from the shaft?
A. The brass gear is tightly press-fitted. While it can be removed with a specialized micro gear puller, we do not recommend using pliers as it may bend the 2.0mm shaft.

Q. Do you provide programming code or technical support for this item?
A. Please note that this is new-old stock (NOS) hardware intended for experienced builders. We do not provide programming libraries or direct technical support. Buyers should have basic working knowledge of stepper motor integration.
