Q. Why isn't the module outputting exactly 5A of current?
A. This module only triggers the voltage. The actual electrical current (Amperage) drawn is determined by the load of your connected device and the maximum capacity of your power adapter. If your adapter is rated for 12V/1.5A, the current will not exceed 1.5A.
Q. My multimeter shows the voltage is slightly off. Is the module defective?
A. The decoy module only communicates the request for 12V to the power supply. It does not actively regulate or correct the voltage. Minor fluctuations or inaccuracies are a result of the power supply's own voltage accuracy and load drop, not the decoy module.
