Precision CC/CV Charging Logic

To maximize battery lifespan, this module employs a sophisticated Constant Current (CC) and Constant Voltage (CV) charging algorithm:

  • Trickle Mode: Gently revives batteries under 3V with 100mA.
  • Fast Charge: Rapidly pumps power at 3A once above 3V.
  • Smart Cut-off: Automatically stops and re-checks voltage every 4 minutes as it nears full capacity to prevent overcharging.

 

Professional Thermal Management & Efficiency

Heat is the enemy of electronics. Thanks to the synchronous switching architecture, this module reaches 93%–95% efficiency, keeping the board cooler even during peak 3A output. The compact $31mm \times 14.8mm$ footprint allows for easy integration into tight enclosures without compromising on power.

A: No, this module is specifically tuned for 3.7V/4.2V or 4.35V ternary lithium batteries. Using it with LiFePO4 may damage the battery.

Q: Does it have over-discharge protection for the battery?
A: No. This is a dedicated charging module. You must use a battery with a built-in protection circuit or add an external protection board.

Q: How do I change the current to 1A?
A: The default is 3A. To change to 1A, you need to remove the "2A" resistor on the board and solder a 135k resistor in its place.
