FAQ Section

Q: The module entered protection mode and stopped outputting power. How do I reset it?
A: If the board triggers a safety shutdown due to a short-circuit or miswiring, simply plug a 5V power source into the Type-C port for a few seconds. This will instantly wake up the BMS and restore normal output.

Q: My 5V power supply takes a long time to drain when turned off, causing a delay in the UPS switchover. How can I fix this?
A: Some wall adapters use large output capacitors that slowly discharge. To ensure an instant UPS switchover, connect a 1K discharge resistor in parallel to the 5V input port on the module to drain residual voltage quickly.

Q: Can I use a battery larger than a single 18650 cell?
A: Yes. While the built-in tray holds one 18650 battery, you can wire multiple lithium cells in parallel to increase your total runtime capacity without affecting the charging or step-up functions.
