A. No. This is an active PoE splitter meant to receive power from a standard 48V PoE Switch or PoE Injector. If you have a non-PoE switch, you will need to add a PoE Injector to the line first.

A. This splitter uses a standard 5.5x2.1mm DC plug and outputs 12V. If your camera requires 12V power, draws 2A or less, and uses a 5.5x2.1mm input, it is fully compatible.
Q. What is the difference between an Active and Passive PoE splitter?
