It features an integrated UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) circuit with pre-wired red and black spade terminals. By adding a standard 12V sealed lead-acid (SLA) battery inside the enclosure, the system will automatically switch to battery power during a mains failure. The smart battery management system automatically charges the backup battery when AC power is active and stops charging when full to prevent overcharging and extend battery life.
9 Individually Fused Channels & High-Current BUS Output
Every standard output channel is protected by its own PTC auto-reset fuse and monitored by a dedicated red LED indicator. If one camera experiences a short circuit, only that specific channel's fuse will trip, leaving the other cameras fully operational. Once the fault is cleared, the PTC fuse automatically resets itself. Additionally, the board features a dedicated "BUS Output" terminal designed to bypass the individual PTC limits, which is perfect for powering high-draw devices like DVR/NVR mainframes.
