High-Performance Component Cooling & DIY Parts
For computer enthusiasts and makers, precision thermal management is key to extending hardware lifespan. Our inventory covers essential cooling components:
- PC & Server Fans: Ranging from micro 40mm DC fans to 140mm silent case fans. Important Note: High-RPM industrial blower fans (e.g., Delta fans) generate massive airflow but also extreme noise levels; they are strictly for server racks or mining rigs and are not suitable for quiet home desktop builds.
- SBC Cooling Solutions: Extensive support for Single Board Computers, including Raspberry Pi 4 & 5 passive aluminum cases and active cooling kits.
- Thermal Interface Materials: Premium thermal paste (grease) and thermal pads to ensure maximum heat dissipation between your CPU/GPU and the heatsink.
Portable Cooling for On-the-Go Comfort
Bridging the gap between industrial motor technology and personal convenience, we stock the latest generation of high-speed handheld turbofans and waist-clip fans. Powered by brushless motors, these rechargeable devices are perfect for outdoor work, commuting, or travel.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: Should I apply as much thermal paste as possible to my CPU?
A: Absolutely not. Thermal paste is designed only to fill microscopic air gaps between the CPU and the heatsink. Applying too much acts as an insulator, trapping heat and reducing cooling efficiency. A pea-sized drop in the center is usually optimal. If you are unsure, our in-store staff can guide you on proper application techniques.
Q: Can I plug a 3-pin DC fan into a 4-pin PWM motherboard header?
A: Yes, the connector is keyed to fit. However, a 3-pin fan lacks the PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) signal for smart speed control. It will run at 100% full speed (and maximum noise) unless your motherboard supports and is configured for DC voltage control in the BIOS.
