Bring Modern Connectivity to Your Existing Motherboard
Upgrading to a modern PC case is exciting, but discovering a "dead" front USB-C port because your motherboard lacks a Type-E header is incredibly frustrating. We understand that upgrading your entire motherboard just for one port isn't practical.
That’s exactly where this USB 3.0 to Type-E Internal Adapter comes in. It acts as a seamless bridge, giving your trusted hardware modern capabilities.
Seamless Front Panel USB-C Integration
You don't need a brand-new motherboard to enjoy the convenience of modern connectivity. This internal IDC 20-pin (Type-E) adapter allows you to utilize the front USB-C port on your new chassis. Simply plug it into the existing USB 3.0 19-pin header on your motherboard, attach your case's Type-E cable, and your front panel is ready to go.
Plug-and-Play Simplicity
Forget about complicated software installations or BIOS updates. This adapter features a 100% driver-free, plug-and-play design. It is universally compatible with any operating system that supports standard USB 3.0—including Windows, Mac OS, and Linux.
Built for Reliable Data Transfer
When transferring large files or connecting essential peripherals, stability is just as important as speed. Engineered with gold-plated copper contacts, this adapter ensures optimal conductivity. Furthermore, the fully double-shielded EMI/EFI wiring actively prevents internal electromagnetic interference from your power supply and GPU, guaranteeing uninterrupted 5Gbps data streams.
Note: As this relies on a USB 3.0 header, it delivers Gen 1 speeds (5Gbps) and standard 4.5W power, which is ideal for data but not designed for fast-charging high-draw devices like tablets.

FAQ Section
FAQ Section
Q. Will this adapter give me 10Gbps transfer speeds?
A. No. Because it connects to a USB 3.0 (Gen 1) motherboard header, the maximum data transfer rate is capped at 5Gbps. It cannot convert a 5Gbps source to 10Gbps.
Q. Can I use this front port to fast-charge my iPad Pro or smartphone?
A. We do not recommend it for high-power charging. Standard motherboard USB 3.0 headers output a maximum of 4.5W (0.9A at 5V). Attempting to pull high wattage for a tablet may trigger your power supply's safety shutdown.
Q. Do I need to install drivers for this to work?
A. Not at all! It is a pure hardware passthrough. As long as your operating system recognizes your motherboard's USB 3.0 controller, this adapter is completely plug-and-play.
