"A common cause of cylinder failure is improper lubrication. The SC32-100-S comes pre-lubricated from the factory and is designed to run oil-free. However, if you choose to add an inline lubricator (oil mist) to your air supply, you MUST not stop using it! The external oil mist will wash away the factory grease. If you later remove the lubricator, the cylinder will run completely dry, causing the piston to overheat and jam.
