Unleash Versatility with Our 3.7V Lithium Battery Boost Charger Module!
This compact and powerful module is an essential tool for DIY enthusiasts, electronics hobbyists, and anyone looking to efficiently charge 3.7V lithium batteries while simultaneously boosting the output voltage for various applications. Whether you're upgrading a multimeter, powering custom projects, or building portable solutions, this module offers unparalleled flexibility.
Key Features:
- Wide Input Voltage Range: Accepts 4.5V to 8V, making it compatible with various power sources, including 5V solar panels.
- Adjustable Output Voltage (4.3V - 27V): Easily set the precise output voltage required for your specific project. Simply turn the potentiometer counter-clockwise to increase the voltage.
- Integrated Lithium Battery Charger: Features a dedicated BAT+ output for charging 3.7V lithium-ion batteries (e.g., 18650 cells) with a charging voltage of 4.2V and a maximum current of 1A.
- High Discharge Current: Supports a maximum discharge current of 2A, providing robust power for your applications.
- Overcharge Protection: Built-in overcharge protection ensures the safety and longevity of your batteries.
- Compact Design: With dimensions of 3.3cm x 2.3cm x 0.9cm, it's perfect for integration into space-constrained projects.
- Low Static Current: Consumes only about 0.5mA in static mode, minimizing power drain.
How it Works:
This module functions as both a boost converter and a lithium battery charger. You can connect your input power (e.g., a 5V solar panel) to the VIN+ and VIN- terminals. The BAT+ and BAT- terminals are designed for connecting your 3.7V lithium battery for charging. Simultaneously, the OUT+ and OUT- terminals provide an adjustable boosted voltage (4.3V to 27V) for powering your desired devices.
Ideal for:
- Modifying multimeters
- DIY portable power banks
- Custom electronics projects
- Solar charging solutions
- And much more!
Important Notes:
- Default Output: The default output voltage is approximately 9V. Please adjust the potentiometer to your desired output before use.
- Output Current Calculation: The output current needs to be calculated based on your specific load. Reference maximum output currents are 1.4A at 5V, 0.8A at 9V, and 0.6A at 12V.
- Over-discharge Protection: While there is a 2V boost cutoff, true over-discharge protection that completely locks the output is not present. Consider adding an external protection board for critical applications if deep discharge is a concern.
