Unlock Clear Audio for Your Projects with the GY-4466 MAX4466 Microphone Amplifier!

Bring the power of sound to your electronic projects with this high-quality electret microphone amplifier module. Fully assembled and tested, this board features a 20-20KHz electret microphone and the exceptional Maxim MAX4466 op-amp, specifically designed for pristine audio amplification.

Why Choose the GY-4466 MAX4466?

  • Superior Audio Quality: Experience clear, low-noise audio thanks to the MAX4466's excellent power supply noise rejection. Say goodbye to noisy or scratchy recordings!
  • Adjustable Gain: Fine-tune your audio input with the onboard trimmer potentiometer, allowing you to set the gain from 25x to 125x.
    • 200mVpp Output: Perfect for "line level" inputs without clipping (ideal for normal speaking volume at 6" away).
    • Up to 1Vpp Output: Easily interface with microcontroller ADCs for sensitive readings.
  • Rail-to-Rail Output: The output can go up to 5Vpp, ensuring clear signal even with loud sounds.
  • Versatile Applications: Ideal for a wide range of projects, including:
    • Voice Changers
    • Audio Recording & Sampling
    • Audio-Reactive Projects (e.g., with FFT)

Simple & Flexible Connectivity:

  • Power: Connect GND to ground and VCC to a 2.4-5VDC supply. For optimal performance, use a "quiet" supply like your Arduino's 3.3V.
  • Audio Output (OUT Pin): The audio waveform is available at the OUT pin with a DC bias of VCC/2.
    • AC Coupled Audio: If your audio equipment requires AC coupling, simply place a 100uF capacitor between the OUT pin and your device's input.
    • Direct Microcontroller Connection: For connecting directly to a microcontroller ADC pin, no amplifier or decoupling capacitor is needed – just connect the OUT pin directly.
  • Note on Speakers: The OUT pin is not designed to drive speakers directly. For speaker output, an additional audio amplifier (like a 3.7W stereo amp) is required.

Enhance Your Projects:

For advanced audio-reactive projects, consider using an FFT driver library to translate audio input into frequencies, unlocking exciting possibilities for light shows, interactive displays, and more.
