The RCWL-1605 Ultrasonic Ranging Module is a compact, low-power, and highly versatile distance-measuring sensor designed for Arduino and other microcontroller platforms. Featuring a transceiver-integrated open ultrasonic design, it offers full HC-SR04 compatibility by default, making it an easy drop-in replacement with enhanced performance.
Powered by the advanced RCWL-9625/9623 chipset, the module provides a wide 2.8–5.5V operating range, simplified peripheral circuitry, and multiple communication options, including GPIO, UART, I²C, and 1-Wire. With a 25cm ultra-small blind zone, 4.5m typical max detection range, and only 2mA working current, it is suitable for both battery-powered and embedded applications.
