Important Use and Maintenance Tips:

To maximize the life of your charger and battery, please follow these guidelines:

1. Correct Connection Order: Always connect the charger to the battery first, then plug into the AC power outlet. After charging is complete, unplug from AC power before disconnecting the battery. This prevents damage to the charger, especially when charging at high currents.
2. Optimal Full Charge: Once the LED light turns green (indicating a full charge), continue charging for an additional 2-3 hours to ensure a balanced and complete charge.
3. Avoid Deep Discharge: Do not allow your battery to completely drain before charging. This can damage the battery and prevent proper protection.
4. Periodic Deep Discharge (for long-term shallow discharge batteries): For batteries that are frequently shallow-discharged, perform a deep discharge (until the controller's undervoltage protection activates) approximately every 3 months. This "re-lighting" helps activate inactive material within the battery and prolong its life.
5. Dry Environment: Always use the charger in a dry environment.
6. Unplug When Not In Use: Disconnect the charger from the power supply when not actively charging.
7. Battery Compatibility: This charger is specifically designed for Lithium-Ion (Li-ion) batteries (e.g., 18650). DO NOT use it with LiFePO4 batteries, as this can cause severe overheating and damage to the charger.
