Professional NFC Integration Made Simple
The PN532 NFC Module V3 is a highly integrated transmission module for near-field communication at 13.56MHz. Built on the industry-leading PN532 chip, this version 3 module offers superior stability and range compared to earlier iterations. It is the perfect bridge between your microcontroller (like Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or ESP32) and the world of RFID.
Versatile Communication for Any Architecture
One of the standout features of this module is its triple-interface support. Using the onboard toggle switches, you can easily switch between:
- I2C & UART (HSU): Standard 5V TTL levels for easy plug-and-play.
- SPI: 3.3V TTL for high-speed data transfer requirements. This flexibility ensures that regardless of your system architecture, the PN532 can be embedded without complex level-shifting or hardware workarounds.
Reliable Range and High Compatibility
Equipped with a gilt PCB and a built-in antenna, the module achieves a stable reading distance of 5cm to 7cm. It supports a wide array of protocols, including ISO/IEC 14443-A/B and FeliCa. From standard Mifare 1k/4k cards to advanced DesFire tags, this module handles them all with precision.
Important Usage Note: This is an IC Card Reader (13.56MHz) specifically designed for IC tags. It is not compatible with ID cards (125kHz) or CPU simulation. Please ensure correct wiring polarity to avoid damaging the circuitry.

FAQ Section
FAQ Section
Q: Can this module be used to duplicate encrypted hotel or access cards?
A: The PN532 can read and write the "Dump" file of encrypted IC cards. However, it does not "crack" the encryption algorithms. You must research and provide the decryption keys yourself before the module can read or write the protected sectors.
Q: Does this work with the Octopus card or ID cards in Hong Kong?
A: This module supports FeliCa (the technology behind Octopus) for data reading, but it cannot modify Octopus card balances. It is not compatible with 125kHz ID cards (common thick proximity cards).
Q: What happens if I reverse the VCC and GND pins?
A: Warning: The module is highly sensitive to polarity. Reversing the power pins will cause immediate and permanent damage to the chip (it will burn out). Always double-check your wiring before powering on.
