Product Description
Enhance your robotics and automation projects with a compact, versatile IR obstacle avoidance module for Arduino and other 3.3 V–5 V microcontrollers. Featuring an infrared LED transmitter and photodiode receiver, this sensor reliably detects obstacles—and even black or white lines—within 2 cm to 30 cm at a 35° angle. A green LED indicator lights up when a reflective surface is detected, and a red LED confirms power. The digital OUT pin delivers a LOW signal upon detection, capable of directly driving a 5 V relay or interfacing with any microcontroller I/O. The board includes two 3 mm mounting holes and measures just 31 mm × 15 mm for easy integration into smart cars, robots, line trackers, and counting systems.
