Product Description:
Enhance your Arduino projects with the AS608 Fingerprint Reader Sensor Module, designed for secure and efficient fingerprint recognition. This optical fingerprint module features a high-resolution 500dpi sensor, ensuring accurate and fast fingerprint detection in under 1.0 second. Perfect for building smart locks, access control systems, and other security applications, the AS608 module offers seamless integration via its Jst 2.0 Ph 8 Pin Connector Plug for serial communication.
How It Works:
The AS608 module uses an advanced fingerprint algorithm to extract and process fingerprint features from scanned images. It supports two main processes:
- Fingerprint Registration: Register a fingerprint by scanning it twice. The module processes and stores the synthesized fingerprint data securely.
-
Fingerprint Matching: Verify fingerprints in two modes:
- 1:1 Comparison: Match a scanned fingerprint against a specific stored fingerprint.
-
1:N Search: Search for a match among multiple stored fingerprints.
The module delivers reliable pass/fail results for authentication.
