Safely Control High-Power Loads with Your 24V System
This 24V relay module, available in 2 or 4-channel options, is the perfect bridge between your low-voltage control circuits (like a PLC, MCU, or industrial controller) and high-power AC/DC loads. It allows you to use a safe, low-voltage 24V signal to control lights, motors, solenoids, and other demanding devices.
Key Features
- 24V DC Operation: Designed specifically for 24V systems, making it ideal for PLC and industrial automation projects.
- Selectable High/Low Level Trigger: Easily configure how your relay activates. Use the onboard jumpers (S1, S2, etc.) to choose whether a HIGH (24V) or LOW (0V) signal turns the relay ON.
- Optocoupler Isolation: Features built-in optocouplers (opto-isolators) that completely separate your control circuit (PLC/MCU) from the high-power load. This protects your delicate electronics from voltage spikes and electrical noise.
-
High Switching Capacity: Each relay (SRD-24VDC-SL-C) is rated to handle heavy loads:
- 10A @ 250VAC
- 10A @ 30VDC
- Clear Status Indicators: Equipped with a power-on LED and individual status LEDs for each relay. Instantly see which channels are active, making troubleshooting a breeze.
- Secure & Easy Wiring: All inputs and outputs use convenient screw terminals for reliable, secure connections. No soldering required.
How to Use
-
Power: Connect your 24V power supply to
DC+andDC-. -
Trigger Setup:
- Move the
S1/S2/etc. jumper to the High side for a high-level trigger. - Move the jumper to the Low side for a low-level trigger.
- Connect the
Com(common trigger) pin to your logic's common ground (0V) or positive (24V) as required by your setup.
- Move the
-
Input Signal: Send your 24V control signal from your PLC or MCU to the
IN1,IN2,IN3, orIN4pins. -
Load Wiring: Wire your device (e.g., a light or motor) using the three output terminals for each channel:
-
NC(Normally Closed): Contact is closed when the relay is OFF. -
COM(Common): The central pin your load is wired through. -
NO(Normally Open): Contact is open when the relay is OFF (closes when activated).
