- What is the best lighting mode to use during the rainy season?During periods of heavy rain or cloudy days, the solar panel will absorb less energy. To ensure your light lasts throughout the night, we highly recommend switching it to "Sensor Mode" (Mode 3). This ensures the high-capacity battery is only drained when movement is actually detected.
- How high should I mount this solar motion sensor light?For the motion sensor to accurately detect movement up to 26 feet away, the ideal installation height is between 5.6 and 6.6 feet (approximately 1.7 to 2 meters) from the ground. Mounting it too high may reduce the sensor's sensitivity to human-sized objects.
- Can I easily change the lighting modes after installation?Yes! The mode selection switch is conveniently located on the back of the unit. You can easily unhook the light from its mounting screw, slide the switch to your preferred setting (Off, 1, 2, or 3), and hang it back up in seconds.
