This RS232 to TTL Serial Port Converter Module is designed for reliable and easy signal conversion between RS232 devices and TTL serial interfaces used by microcontrollers like Arduino, STM32, STC, NXP, NEC, and Renesas. Featuring the MAX3232 chip, the module delivers stable voltage level conversion for seamless communication between 3.3V–5.5V logic systems and traditional RS232 ports (DB9 connector).
Perfect for radio modification, GPS interfacing, hard disk repair, set-top box upgrades, phone flashing, and debugging embedded systems.
Features
- Converts RS232 signals to TTL (3.3V/5V) logic levels
- Built-in MAX3232 IC for compatibility with a wide range of microcontrollers
- Standard DB9 female connector for easy integration
- Supports both full-duplex data transmission (TX/RX)
- Operating voltage: 3.3V–5.5V
- Clearly labeled pins: VCC, GND, TX, RX
- Compact PCB for versatile installation
Important Notes
- Some compatibility issues have been reported with certain laptops when used with USB-to-Serial adapters. If communication is unstable, try switching MAX3232 to MAX232 or adjusting operating voltage.
- This module is intended for basic serial communication and does not include technical support for device programming or flashing.
Common Applications
- Industrial automation and debugging
- Embedded system upgrades
- Microcontroller programming
- Vehicle diagnostics
